I am a member of the American Institute for Conservation and its contemporary art and textile specialty groups.
I am a second-year student in the Fashion and Textile Studies MA program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I've completed coursework in both the conservation and curatorial tracks. My particular research interests are textiles in modern and contemporary art,synthetic materials and technical/utilitarian clothing/sportswear, and the histories of these things (I've worked in the outdoor industry for a long time, so I really like to talk about gear.)
